There's a site that offers books by Anthony de Mello. On http://emailspirituality.org/ you can leave your email and chose how often you want to get an email and you will be emailled a story or short text (around 5 minutes of reading) from the chosen book as often as you wanted.
Some books (Awakening - Conversations with the Masters, Awareness, Wellsprings, Way to Love) contain the explicit teaching by Anthony de Mello. His style is direct, powerful, convincing, transforming. Very much recommended (e.g. his Way to Love, haven't read the others) to those who like this style of teaching. Could be I misplaced one or the other of the books, but you'll figure it out.
The other books (One Minute Nonsense, One Minute Wisdom, The Heart of the Enlightened, The Song of the Bird) contain stories collected from all over the world. Good stories, more implicit teaching.
"It is a great mystery that though the human heart longs for Truth in which alone it finds liberation and delight, the first reaction of human beings to Truth is one of hostility and fear. So the Spiritual Teachers of humanity, like Buddha and Jesus, created a device to circumvent the opposition of their listeners: the story."
