Oh man, if you can go on retreat at the Hermitage, I highly recommend it. 

I went there for a few short days, but it's absolutely beautiful surroundings. Ideal for practice. They get some really amazing teachers coming through too!

That's where I met Pierre. I did a monthlong retreat there last fall, and two weeks the year before. It is indeed a great place, in a beautiful setting. Thanks for the mention!

I'm also living in Vancouver BC, thanks Laurel for the Hermitage link, i've been looking for somewhere to do retreats in the spring/summer.
