HI there,
Has anybody here checked out Jeff Tarrant's workon neurofeedbacked informed practice?
Two parts, part one here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=841&v=zaEzpCusdWU&feature=emb_logo
Quick version: Jeff outlines five styles of meditation:
Focus, Mindfulness/open awareness, Open Heart, Quiet Mind, Deep State
More to the point, he quantifies them using EEG electrode placements and measurements. That is the part that got my interest. I think it's pretty early work - he relies on date from the Maharishi University researcher quite a bit - I wonder if that's cutting edge. Also, you need pretty good EEG equipment to do the quantification (sLoreta). Intriguing though.
Thanks, Paul
