Over the last ten years, I've come to the conclusion that nondual awakening, which I take to be the same as stream-entry, is simply a matter of de-repression.
I'm encouraged in this by the work of Michael Washburn, who presents an alternative transpersonal psychology to that of Ken Wilber. His classic is The Ego and the Dynamic Ground. More recently, he expanded on his ideas in Embodied Spirituality in a Sacred World.

What do you think? Is all this simply obvious to you? Or do you subscribe to Ken Wilber's view, that mysticism is something other than regression?
