Another episode of my podcast tilting towards meditation. This one featuring the DhO's own Tim Farrington. Lots of chatting about depression, dark night stuff and mania, and a little bit about making art. Wish we went a bit more into the art side of thing. Lots of ideas for next time.

Nice to hear your voices lads... Tim yours reminds me of my good friend Julien's somehow, my notoriously depressed friend. Cool depression talk. The observation about interest seems very core imho. Wishing you both the best.

Thanks Papa Che and Olivier. And thanks to Brandon for a rollicking fun conversation.

One of the interesting things is that this is well into Brandon's "How to be an artist" podcast series, but this is the episode in which he "comes out" as a meditator! I loved that.

We were hammered on green smoothies, by the way. Tequila, in mine. Healthy stuff for Brandon, once a Mormon always a Mormon, poor guy's healthy-leaning by nature, lol.

I missed the first time 'round (or I misunderstood it). I wish I would have followed up a bit more on that.

Thanks to both of you for doing this. It was fun to listen.
Like Olivier said, I'd be interested too in that point about the presence or lack of interest in different modes of being depressed. I definitely notice it in my experience that while feeling depressed, sometimes there is interest but sometimes not.

Sorry, I take a long time to get my episodes out the door. When I started the project I just wanted to focus on one problem at a time, so I recorded a bunch of episodes before I even started posting them. I'm about 7 episodes ahead now. I guess its kinda good to have a buffer, but it also means things aren't quite as current once they hit the airwaves.

It would probably have taken longer time for me. I tend to do things slowly and thoroughly when I manage to do them. I was just happy to find out that it was available, because I have been eager to listen.
