Years ago in my teenage years I've got addicted to amphetamine. Making long story short,  I became so  heavly addicted and got to the point I wanted to commit suicide..Then once I had been pulled out of my body and I've seen white briliant light. And that white brilliant light "said" to me that's not over and I have to acomplish certain things.. After that my addiction just vanished. I'm currious about your opinions about this experience? Thank you!

Interesting experience that was of benefit to you and everyone around you. A mystery fabricated by the mind. That does not make it any less real though, as everything you experience is a fabrication of the mind. I think.

Experiences like the one you describe seem to happen quite a bit. I am curious about what you think about the experience and what it means for you now, in relation to meditation or insight practices.

Diagnosis: 4th ñana, Knowledge of the Arising and Passing Away of Phenomena.

“But I had it while on drugs (or in a dream). I never even meditated.”

Doesn’t matter. 4th ñana. Have a nice day.

“But it was so real. I saw God. I know it was enlightenment.”

No, it was the 4th ñana.
