Hi! There have been some heated debate recently. I'm not gonna be a Kindergarten teacher to grown-up people, but I'm also not willing to see thread efter thread getting derailed. Please take your conflicts here instead, and deal with them in a grown-up way! Be respectful towards each other! If you need moderating, please send me a direct message! Thanks!

Here is a resource that might be helpful for the conversation:

Can you provide a practical example of how we might use this thread?

When two people find that they are getting into arguments in thread after thread, instead of derailing all those threads with their arguments, they can invite each other to continue the discussion here and talk it through, respectfully. Unless of course they prefer to talk somewhere else (video chat, direct messages, email, a thread of their own in the DhO Battleground...) or to not talk. Optional, of course.

I have asked people to step back from threads, because they were derailing them, but if they feel the need to continue the discussion in public, of course without breaking forum rules, this is a suitable place. That's what the battleground is for, among other things, isn't it? Anyway, it is now.

To be clear, I don't think it's a good idea for others to butt in and take sides. This thread is for one-on-one communication in the interest of exploring each other's point of view.
