I love this guy, who claims to have contact with an ET, which he can channel through him (he is being used as an biological telephone).

Sounds crazy right? Well, it is, but it's get more believable when he answers every question he gets almost instantly and in a very clear (correct) way.

Unfortunately, channeling is a controversial subject.  Psychologist and consciousness researcher Charles Tart noted that he could have a subject "split off" part of their personality and "channel" it under hypnosis, which looked very convincing, but was ultimately just one part of the psyche talking through another.

Much channeled material is also frankly ridiculous, containing numerous errors when it comes to science and metaphysics. You would think that ETs or more enlightened beings would do a better job.

I will say that most of the Seth material is good, and A Course in Miracles gets constant praise regarding how complex and internally consistent it is.  I don't doubt that there may be extraterrestial civilizations out there somewhere, but why would they communicate through telepathy? I suspect that most channelers are just dipping into the archetypal unconscious here.

The bottom line, when it comes to siddhis, is this: caveat emptor.
