The softcover will essentially come with an ebook version, but it doesn't appear that this one will. I'm interested in the hardback, but would love an ebook while I wait for that.

Daniel, is that a possibility?

Thanks!

www.mctb.org should be open for viewing shortly, and it contains a free, online version of the book, just tidying up a few loose ends there.

Also, apparently there are already pirated ebook versions floating around that removed the protections from the ebook version already available at Amazon.

Thanks for your interest in the hardbound version: I hope it turns out as nice as it sounds like they are making it. In case this wasn't clear, the content is nearly exactly the same with the sole exception being the cover art attribution.

If there is a MCTB3 someday, I recommend to make it in two or three volumes with bigger fonts.

We talked about it being multiple volumes numerous times, but I worried that, in order to achieve the right balance, each section needed others to keep it in line and provide perspective, and worried that people might just read, say, volume one, and miss things that were in the others, and it would increase cost as it would be more binding, and it is already more expensive than I would like it to be, so a single volume it was.

As to the font choice and size, I had no control over that at all, and Aeon Books is way into Palatino 10.5 and wouldn’t be talked out of it. I actually wanted a different font and size for the hardbound edition, but they said that would require more typesetting and that wasn’t goint to happen, so I had to let it go.
