There are many occasions when I wish I had the ability to like, or uptick, a post. This is one of them. Thanks Daniel.

Thanks Daniel! MCTB1 was a huge influence on my life and my practice, and I've really enjoyed the ensuing conversations both here and on all the other pragmatic dharma forums. I'm only a little ways into MCTB2, but it already feels enriched by knowing the context that it springs from.

Thank you so very much, Daniel. The first edition set my confusion on fire. Hopefully, the second will be the gasoline
Edit: I can't get past the dedication-section. "Database error" is what I get.

Not sure about the database error you got, seems to be working now. It is hosted on Bluehost, which has generally worked pretty well for me, but no server is perfect. Let me know if you have further problems.

Hi Daniel.
First of all thanks for doing MCTB2 available online.
Second, just now there seems to be a problem accessing the site. Using Firefox and Chrome it doesn't allow me to connect for security reasons.
I get this error:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-does-your-connection-is-not-secure-mean
Have a nice day.

If you get the security error, try navigating to www.mctb.org and not to https:\\mctbs.org that the above links go to.
That solved the issue for me!

You can also just ignore the security error (in Chrome, by clicking "Advanced" on the warning page and clicking "Proceed (unsafe)".
Looks like all that's happened is the certificate is for the wrong domain (it's for dharmaoverground.org rather than mctb.org). So it is safe, nothing fishy going on, just the domain is wrong.
Daniel/tech support: It's a LetsEncrypt cert so all that needs doing is re-running the certification bot on the Bluehost machine with the correct domain input - looks like it can be done through the Bluehost backend for Wordpress here: https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help/free-ssl

Hi Daniel,
thank you so much for sharing this very helpful and valuable resource online for free! Is there going to be a pdf version, like for MCTB1?

Sorry about the SSL error, the site was just moved and we hadn't gotten a new cert installed yet. Didn't realize it was linking to https:// here.
It's fixed now.

Thanks so much Daniel! And congrats on the release! First book made a huge impression on my practice, life, and enthusiasm for Dharma, I can't wait to read this new edition.

Thank you, Daniel for this wonderful gift of Dharma. Really enjoy the cover by your step-son. The Dhammachakra reminds me of those plain colored Sri Lankan BPS books.
Is it okay to skip to the story part, btw? Are we permitted to use web scraping to download this book?
I like this quote in the foreword; especially the kindness and aplomb (had to google this word) part. I'll do my best .

I will explain in detail what is meant by “have your psychological trip very together”, with the key requisite skills being an ability to identify difficult mind states when they arise and handle them with kindness and aplomb.
