Hello everybody, When sitting I naturally go towards this neutrali silence, but its like dead end no jhana no nothing, I used to reach jhanas just by resting in this state, but its gone, its kinda sucks no pleasure, but maybe some body could give me tips?Whats this silence all about? What can I do with it? Just sit for ever and nothing happening? Is this state workable? Maybe some body of u guys are familiar with this state?

It's funny you mention silence. That is actually a Christian concept. There are several good books on Christian meditation or as some call it Centering Prayer. Let me know and I can recommend some books.

Mountains Beyond Mountains  is about healthcare in Haiti, and indeed worldwide. It's not about Meditation but it induces a contemplative spirit. All this is going off of your original statement, which sounds to me like the dark night.

If you can let go of what you think should be happening and just enjoy the silence I think that will help you.

A Quick Guide to Producing Bliss with Meditation
http://ncu9nc.blogspot.com/2020/10/a-quick-guide-to-producing-bliss-with.html

Metta is very similar, if you can produce metta you might find you can switch over to bliss, just focus on the pleasurable aspect of metta.

Metta Meditation

In my experience relaxation is more important than concentration. I think that is because the biggest causes of mental turbulence are stress and mental fatigue. I find the best way enable concentration is to do relaxation exercises rather than concentration practices. The pleasurable aspect of feeling relaxed is a good trigger for bliss.

That is a possibility. I have entertained similar thoughts myself.

Noting gone is a good way to get the job (Stream Entry) done with minimal pressure. I have taken to noting something along the lines of "renounce" and it has left me with many problems. It seems to be hardwired into my brain.

I don't really subscribe to the view that the path is a series of attainments you have to check off from a list.

I prefer a more laid-back approach: http://ncu9nc.blogspot.com/2021/07/a-path-part-ii.html

I took a qigong class on a whim at a local hospital and found that the qi ball practice moves a pleasurable feeling around the body.
