Are there any students of Gary Weber in this forum that can share some insight about his personality and teaching style?

There is https://batgap.com/gary-weber/ I was interested in his writing some time ago but not as a student. The driver behind his initial interest in meditation seems to have been an extreme suffering from self critical mental chatter. I guess someone who is suffering in a similar way will strongly relate to his story (of course that is not to say everyone who relats well to him shares that story!)

I did exchange emails with him few years ago relating to my practice.

Can´t talk much about personality, but he seemed to put effort/care into the replies.

Stop talking to him because to much self inquiry was causing me "brain fog" and some other shit and i halted all practices for 1 year or 2.

Probably i was putting to much effort and "laser focus"  into inquiry. Now, when i do it, it has kind of an effortless/wide/all inclusive qualitty to it.

I've never been a student of Gary's but I have met and talked with him a few times face to face. He's a nice man. Conversational, witty, and caring.

Just another time wasting post about liking Gary Weber. He HAS seen, and is quite far along in my estimation - a man of great insight, though I confess I don't always get his emphasis on working within the illusory, relative-reality-based science paradigm.
