Hey guys, so lately I have been focusing my practice on concentration but I am facing a challenge. When I enter access concentration I am pulled into a state of lucid dreaming, I am still aware of what is happening (I am not unconscious like in distracting thoughts) but it is difficult to pull away from it to focus on the object of meditation. For example the hypnogogic state would manifest as a space, an area where events are occuring (just like in a lucid dream) but the space and the events cover the object of meditation and mix with it. Do you guys have any tips to go beyond that and enter jhana and higher concentration?

With Love,
Bhumi

i get that sometimes.

i try and snap out of by reassessing the attention to the breath.
doesn´t allways work. lol

(if you´re into TMI)
can this hypnogogic state be caused by dullness or subtle dullness that surfaces on STAGE 5 TMI?
