Yes grief is a series of dukkha nanas, unquestionably.  But the exact progression will likely differ from the dukkha nanas in the path of insight, as the POI was developed specifically to guide intensive meditation. I would recommend referring to the many secular guides available that have good descriptions of the path of grief.  Grief will be less for those with greater insight.
